From the way motion plays out in front of the camera to the duration of the event you are trying to capture, many elements go into the creation of a time-lapse, and we will cover them all.

In this workshop, Brian will teach you all of the components necessary to make a professional-looking time-lapse video from a series of still images. Not only will you learn in the classroom, but you will also shoot and process a time-lapse. This hands-on workshop will get you started on your own time-lapse journey.
MEET: We will meet as a group out in front of the Great Seattle Wheel
Disclaimer: Because cameras and cable releases vary, you will be responsible for knowing how your equipment works before attending this class. Be sure to take some time to learn how to either access your interval shooting mode, or how your camera and cable release w/intervelometer work before the class.
What you will need for the on-location workshop
- Camera with ability to shoot still images in intervals or with the ability to take a cable release with interval abilities.
- Cable release with interval abilities (if camera can’t control).
- Tripod
- Neutral density filter of 6 or 10 Stops
- Spare battery for camera
